Raíces de Bienestar offers clinical mental health services to uninsured and under-insured Latinx community members across Oregon. We recently (September 2023) obtained a certificated of approval from the Oregon Health Authority and soon will be working with Oregon Health Plan members.
Our therapeutic services are provided via a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform or through in person mobile health services, in order to meet the community where they are at. We offer culturally adapted, personalized, compassionated and evidence based mental health services for individuals, couples and families in need. All our services are culturally affirming, specific and trauma/healing informed.
Eligible youths and adults can receive free telebehavioral health sessions, thanks to the support of multiple funders such as Providence Community Health Division, Long Term Recovery Group Southern Oregon, the Oregon Justice Department, Oregon Community Foundation, the Ford Family Foundation, amongst others. These telehealth sessions are offered via secured online video conference or phone. Sessions are offered by a team of bilingual clinicians (Spanish and English) and bicultural providers, all who are qualified mental health professionals working under the supervision of licensed psychologists to either support their graduate practicum/internship experiences or to meet the requirements to become licensed psychologists or licensed clinical social workers.
Raíces de Bienestar also offers therapeutic support to individuals experiencing trauma or psychological distress due to the illegal marihuana/hemp industry in Oregon.
Raíces de Bienestar clinical team focuses on using the most culturally responsive care to address issues such as:
- Depression & sadness
- Anxiety & worry
- Sleep difficulties
- Relationship or family difficulties
